Yeah, unfortunately they are, but I know he was willing to pick up an HO one just to get the plans and design. It really looks like a neat kit, If I were into logging, I'd definitely think about putting in a bid.

The design is a killer one, at the top of a lot of peoples lists for style and grace.........its building the thing from the plans thats supposedly insanity time.

There is a lot of stuff done on this with laser cutters that would be hard to replicate by a good scratch builder, but once you have the parts sitting in front of you from the kit it would be easier to perfectly duplicate or close too it.

Personally i think these 2 ebay sellers on ebay are fishing, because i do not think they should sell for anywhere near the kind of $$$$ they are asking , for I have them both on my watching list and will see what happens to them , anything including no bids or sales.  I think 90% of this particular kit run , is sitting on people shelves never to be built.  Along with a few other of these early laser kit master creations designs.

neither the $999 one or the $699 sold , as i expected......I think maybe around $300 or less would be a good price, if one really wanted one.

Its not a shay......i copied and blew up ,then zoomed in on the locomotive....shays always have the driveline on the right side.....this has nothing.  Maybe its a dunkirk type loco.???

Woodie and Mudge are real good at identifying locos, maybe they will voice an opinion as too the locos heritage and wheel setup.

Wheel setup from what i could see is a 4--4--4....maybe a 2-2 setup on the tender area.

Not sure what part of the world this travelling show layout is from, New Zealand is what i think, but not sure of.  I have never been able to find out who specifuically built it.

The many wheeled models are a lot like what Ollie Smith of New Zealand made after they outlawed steam in the woods. The double ended model is like a prototype one he made also.

This loco is on Murray Reid's On3 logging layout, the "Steamwinders & Sawdust." Google it, go to the loco roster it is at the bottom of the photos.

Thanks, apparently it is a variation on a 4 truck climax of some sort.

Might be the one that the seller was offering to the members here at $2500 (only!) before he sent it to Ebay.

Also before I deleted his ad, and him also.
