I was playing with a design to use for my small locos and came up with this.

It's 18 x 40-inches. Might be kind of fun!

I think its a great idea then you can do some experimenting with the turntable an perhaps rustic it up a bit. Lots of room there for detail.

While watching the Dallas Cowboys blow their playoff chances, I was drawing an engine house for the Pine Creek on my laptop, then printing it on card stock and cutting it out. #1 (white roof) was too big. #2 (green roof) still looked too big. #3 (blue roof) was better but I didn’t like the side building. I traded the one from #2 and I think it came out all right.

Ain't they grand??

I don't know Bob....that blue roof looks a little narrow to me....I would think you would want a tad more overhang on the eaves?

That's just me.

Sorry about the Cowboys......sorta. ;)

I like the looks of the buldings......is that a model power tank on your flat there?

I agree about the overhang but I like the size and shape.

That is a model power tank. I started that after one that you did awhile back. It still needs weathering and dullcoat.

Cool!

Those are great little tanks.:pimp:

You don't need to do too much more on it...the peeled paint effect looks great.:apl::mex:

I started on a little turntable for Pine Creek. A 4-inch drain cap and a 4-inch round grate.

Manual operation.
