Hi

I thought I would share a picture of a diorama I have been working on.

The diorama base is a 4inch x 4inch oak plinth,
the work surface area is 80mm x 80mm.

The diorama depicts a little lineside lamp lighters hut.

I hope you like my work.

Very nice.

Grass is a little too neat for my taste.

If you add some gravel, taller weeds, maybe a flower or two,
and some mud in layers it would polish it off.

Hi Rod

Thanks for your comments.

The diorama is not completely finished,
so a few of those items you mentioned can be added.

It's a nice little cameo Kevin.

Hi Kevin

I guess that oak-plank you bought back in the last Millennium ...  :old dude:

... has lasted quite well !  :P  ;)

I have always been a fan of the ol'  "less is more"  saying !  :thumb:

A dusty ol' Zen Master idea I think, from several 100 years B.C. (at least !)  L:

He may well have had something there & even wrote a Haiku about it ?  ???

Anyway, enough philosophical drivel for 1 evening !  :f:

GREAT  :bg:  DIORAMA  !

I am trying to learn something from this ...  :dope:
... & am wondering how many Sq"s I'd need for a bogie-hopper in 1:35n2  ???  :brill:

I may have to further consult yet again, your equally GREAT  :bg:  'China Clay' diorama ...

'China Clay' - My New Diorama
... to square up the baseboard situation.   (groan)
