It is almost 3 weeks after the last Ontraxs exhibition but I hadn't time to sort the photo's earlier.

The level of some of the layouts was a bit below Ontraxs standards so I don't have a photo of each layout.

Well, here are the photo's I think are worth to be posted.

1. Tolsteegbrug, a Dutch layout in the city of Utrecht

2. Bahnhof Gollwald, situated in/based on Austria

3. Porto flavia

4. Marienfeld

5. Bard-Daizami

6. L'ile (the island)

7. Klosterstollen (scale 1:22.5)

8. Hinterlassenschaften Hamburg 1946 (a scene in the German city Hamburg just after WW2)

About the above motorloco, it has two motors, one drives the loco and the other the flywheel.
There is also a speaker under the seat.

To be continued.

It is always neat to see something different in modelling,

perhaps that is why of the two magazines I get,

one is Continental Modeller, the other being Narrow Gauge Down Under.

Hi Alwin

Thanks as always !  for the GREAT photos from 'Ontraxs' !!  :thumb:

I wish I could have been there myself ...  :)

... but your 'show reports' are almost like being there ...

... & I don't have to get seasick on the boat !  ;)

There are   T     many   T     C   L   things to see on all the layouts ...

... but I like to pick a few things that catch my attention.

Like this niffty bit of bridgework ...  :old dude:

Or even this one.

Guess who's been thinking about bridges lately ?  :P

I've always liked the oDd lighthouse or 2 as well !  :)

Top shots Alwin ... can't wait for Part-2 !  :pimp:

9. G├╝terareaal "Winzig" (not sure about the name)

10. Luxor sugarcane valley

11. The cornmill / The coastline

12. Stacja rusinowo waskotorowe, a layout based on Poland.

End of part two, last part in next post.

13. De graafstroom

As you can see, the boat was moving, the swan was "swimming" and the bridge did go up an down to let the boat pass.
The speed of all three was perfect (read: slow) and without any shocking.
Really great job on that.

14. Evocation de la ligne Marle-Montcornet

15. Wainthrop Bridge

16. La banlieue

A layout made out of several modules.
It has a bit a different flavour than the "normal' layouts.

17. Fremo USA NL.

This layout has no background, so it doesn't suffice the Ontraxs standards, but the scenery was nice.

That was it for this year.

Enjoy!

Hi Alwin

Thanks again for the GREAT photos of the layouts.  :thumb:

Another ^^ favourite, of many.

The 'colouring' of this scene works really well for me ...

... & shows, I think, that bright(ish) colours can look great amongst 'the rust' !  ;)

Thanks Alwin,

If I ever get to Utrecht again, I'll try to time it to match Ontraxs.

Great photos & thanks for posting.

Hard to say which was more fun: pigeon fly cage on the roof, or magic carpet.

Wonder if they ever crossed flight-paths?

Certainly John Allen would have approved!

It's just a normal sector-plate to shift cars around:

This is the real thing the model of which was shown on OnTraxx
