This is an amazing album. I have no idea what are they talking about but the photos and drawings tell a very detailed and clear interesting story.

They talk about a system of ng railway paralleling canal borders, where they used mainly electric, but steam and diesel was also tried. The tractors, like the ones employed on the Panama Canal, were used to pull the barges along at a speed of 3..5km/h
