Drawings of the narrow gauge drop cab 47 Tonner in question,

may be found in the July 1947 RMC.

It may be modeled using a GE 44 or 45 Tonner for the body.

BTW:

The same trucks were used under the 2' 23 Tonner in November 1974 RMC.

It may be modeled using a GE 25 Tonner for the body.

Have fun TCC :}

There was a 1937 90,000 pound rule,

where locos under this weight did not require a fireman.

The 44 Tonner was born,

to keep it to a one man crew.

Modeling a Plymouth might be more fun,

since they came in many varieties.
