The car is finished!!! Same link.
Thanks, Bobby
These cars out of the box are toys with potential. Plano is coming out with a roof walk and up grade parts. I dug this 22 year old project out of my junk box and went full bore. Deconstruction requires several hours of work that's not much fun! I replaced the end platforms, removed the bottom horizontal rib so I could thin out the top one. There's a space between the ribs on the prototype, with step I created a space. The hopper bottoms required lots of work that I'm doing now. The side vertical ribs were to small, so I'm replacing them with .060 half round styrene. It'll have sergeant couplers and 125 T trucks. I'll add updates as I go.
Thanks, BobbyLast edited on Thu Mar 12th, 2015 08:48 pm by tankcarsrule

WOW, Bobby, another beautiful looking car. I remember seeing the real thin here in Rochester, New York, only labeled NYC.

Thanks a lot Berne. Yes it started out as NYC, then PC, CR finally MDT a
division of CR. The car was built in 1964, with another version in 1966.
