Never mind... Apparently, the download on my iPad caused an issue on my end that is now fixed.
If there is an update to this forum's software that better supports tablets and the like.... You might want to have look at doing that upgrade. For instance, I can't upload any photos here from my IPad. I can in the other forums I participate in.Last edited on Mon Apr 28th, 2014 02:29 am by mwiz64

Hi all,
I think that the rail sofa may have been built for the MKT?
The Mt Washington cog railway loco looks odd because it was on the flat. This loco was designed to have the boiler level when it was climbing or descending the hill on the cog railway

"The Couch" was made for the NYO&W according to my references. Jose.

When I zoomed in on the locomotive picture and read the word cog it explained a lot.
I'm not familiar with MKT but I do like the rail sofa quite a lot. I imagine back in the day, one would take that to the rail drive-in theater and have a nice evening with the fam, watching movies and popping Jiffy-Pop popcorn on the boiler. I'm kidding of course. That's a pretty fancy inspection car. Had to have some really important people that moved around on that thing. And again, I do like it a lot.....

Yeah, the NYO&W was real fancy, but probably was discarded when some top brass ended up with a cow on his lap... Jose.
