Everybody knows that I dislike letters for scales...like N, HO, etc...but in an effort to promote this scale and hopefully the NMRA will develop standards for it (yeah, right!), I have realized that 1:35 scale, being the norm for military modeling, maybe should be called.... ready? M SCALE. Hokey, you bet, but all the other letter desigantions are hokey also. Sooo, from now on (until I am taken to the local nut ward), I am modeling Mn2. There's also Mn3 on my layout and a monorail which is probably MM. Obviously, I am alone tonight without female companionship and even Jake is outside chasing rats. This has bugged me for quite some time...at least 30 minutes... and I thought I'd write out my thoughts on the matter. If there is no disagreement then the motion stands. All in favor..........

With the prolifiration (what?) of teeny tiny scales, maybe this should stand for...MANLY SCALE...the scale for REAL MEN. Now, anybody wanna talk about r/c VS DCC...?

Mature Modeler? Nobody ever accused me of being mature...old maybe...but never mature. But OK, I can go with that, or Manly Modeler...either works for me.
