Those interested in Colorado narrow gauge should check out this book by the well known Mr. Ferrell. This is a very nice "coffee table" book although I wouldn't let anybody spill coffee, etc. on it. 371 pages of excellent (some not published before) photos by some of the most famous photographers of railroad subjects. You folks who don't care for a bunch of written words will like this, it is full of great shots and detail hounds will appreciate every scene. While I don't model Colorado NG, I love it and some of my very favorite photos in this book are of Colorado Central Porter 0-6-0's and Mason Bogies with Congdon smokestacks. Can't get much better than that! There are even Gilpin Tram photos displayed for you two foot nuts (like me).

Here's a link to available books from ABE BOOKSELLERS (I have no connection except for them having my debit card on file!). If you appreciate this subject or want something super nice to look at on a cold winter's night, then this book is for you. Trust me, you will just love it.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, its' how you rig the game.
