These trees are handmade using sagebrush for armatures. The stuff very common here in Montana. Once the sagebrush is trimmed the way I want it, Woodland Scenics foam clusters is glue to the sagebrush. I use a hot glue gun. They take about a half hour to make and probably have less than a bucks worth of material in them.

Here's another shot. I have made similar posts on another forum and have had many requests for sagebrush. Sounds like I could get a little business going on the side ! For me, it's free, except for the time cutting the stuff.
Picked up some Sagebrush when I was out in Colorado.....One of these days I am going to utilize them....I grabbed a couple dozen extra large armatures figuring I could use a dozen for large trees and the other 12 trimmed into some smaller armatures and dead trunk material..
Getting old aint for Sissies!!!
