 Well , the title say pics of anything we model can go in here --so here goes!

  I am building junk-wrecked S scale (1/64/ cars and trucks --hot wheel size - to put in a diorama of a junk yard like many of us wandered about in in our younger days.

  Here are a few I have built --.

 














 This Cord ( I hope you saw it as that) I built before HotWheels made a Cord --this is made of the front halves of 2 VW glued together and the rest formed from aluminum from disposable baking pans.

  A closer look at some ---- First the Cord ---



 Then ,the model A Pick Up -- this was built from a Model A sedan  and the motor is scratched --all the motors are -- hot wheels don't have motors.




A closer look at the Cord Motor --The A motor and a Fire truck too.



 



 



 How about a closer look at a burned out 49 Ford ragtop --- got burned on the showroom when the dealership burned.

  This post can run a LOOOOOOOOOOOOng time -- I have a good many more done or in progress and this is just part of what I have to "junk"

 




 



 

 Since this was taken I have bought about 3 -4 times this many and have also gotten some  a bit more "upscale"  than Hot wheels. I model mostly in Ho but this diorama will be S because there are a LOT more cars and trucks in that sixe and even the expensive ones like this 53 Merc. are only about 6 bucks. ASny thing decent in HO is 126 or more --a bit pricey when you need a couple hundred!






 Next is a picture of a 40 ford coupe.

 I have a number of pics of this car in the process as well as some others --that I can show in stages of transforming.

 Here are some photos of old autos & trucks found on the Mogollon Railway. All were modified from 1:32 and 1:35 kits



While not a large assortment, there are many more examples along the line. And there's always Tillman's Model T Parts yard.

That first close up of the Cord has gotten modified VW written all over it.:P

Just kidding. Nice job on making those cars look so relistic. I bet if you took a picture when they are all stacked side by side in the yard a few feet away it look very real.

@ Woodie,

Also nice looking cars. Looks like you've got real cob webs on that one half track. :2t:

Bernd   I already asked Woodie to catch and send me one of his scale spiders-- so far no answer.  Looks like I got a bit of interest in 1/64 junk -- so I'll post a few more and kind of show how they get that way.  the Hapless 40 is shown basking in the sun --totaly unaware of the dremel approaching in the night!
  The Dremel has attacked! So far it has whacked off a door , fender, the floor, and cut a big hole in the roof! There has been a fenderwell panel in, and the hole in the roof turned into a dent with aluminum from a disposable baking tin put in to turn the hole into a dent--a bit of body putty will blend and hide the edges. Also the deck lid is gone , and it and the left rear fender replaced with crumpled aluminum.





 

 Here is a shot of the rear "crunch" with the deck lid cut off.

 Bernd-the US mail nixed the plan to send you some "cob" spiders. In 1:35 scale, the little fellows are about the size of a small tarrantula. Real scale spiders, can't get better than that!

Dave-really neat work on the cars. It appears that you have scratchbuilt motor blocks, etc. Fine stuff, please send along more photos.
