I looked on "de net" and Alamo Iron Works is still in business. I don't think they make that old pump any more, their catalog showed high tech devices that could be used on the Starship Enterprise or maybe in Spock's bathroom. Such is life...

fellers...

I figgered it was time to stir some stuff...This is all 0n30"..the Glyn valley 4 Tonne granite wagon is some Brit kit..the Glyn valley carriage...some plastic kit from the fair isle as well..

The bigger one is A Binnie engineering kit to 16 mil scale...the smaller is the metal one shewn previous...foto..I enjoy this sort of dupes in different scales...

These are some 1/4 inch scale figgers custom painted for my Patrone'...in that time...

Then these next are the Glynn valley tram carriage , built for the same fellow..

These both on a layout I built to 0n2'..thence when Bachman came out with the 30" ..I laid a third rail...

Not really a very big or complicated layout...but neat enough..shewn at "O" scale west several years running...

It got a award one year for trackwork in spite of it being displayed and run on a table I rented..to have a place to sit..

.I had one of those sound and power power packs with the speaker placed under the layout..several fellows asked how I had gotten sound into the bachs Porter...

Then ..a gnomy tramcar..powered with a  hustler chassis I think..before the time of the Trolley car chassis by Bachs man...

Hi Charley

Looks like a cool little layout.
Even I might have room for one like that.

Just converted a pair of Binnie Engineering arch-bars to 45mm gauge.
New wooden bolsters + wheelies on new 'drill-bit' axles !
Nice for 1/2" WSLCo cars ( sort of ).

Cheers

Si.

Si , fellers..

Wul , the Bachmans side rod dizzle will go around a 4 or 5 inch radii curve..quite happily...

Build a card body on there ..and you got a 1:35th n 2 critter...how easy and cool is that...very ..says I...

AND..it can curve around the head of a pin...with all them angels the philosopher types say are dancing thereon..moohhaahahahah take a foto of that and smoke it in your pipe,..or how ever that goes...

Some cliche' invented in Tejas by some feller wearing a  coonskin hat...

by winters only I trust..?...

AND FUTHERMORE...sorry for shouting..I am all excited...I got the CD's I was talking about..I am going to put em' in and fire em up to see if there is anything worth shewing on them...

Chols

Si , feller.s.

I had em in the computer today..I think I had the pitcher from one in the wrong program for re sizing..

One has some new fotos of that Halfinch diorama thing..same subject matter really..different poses...I 'll see about altering them as downloads...that should make them shippable ..size..d...
