Fiddlersgreen - Card Stock Models is giving away a different model each week for the next few weeks. This is the current model and it comes in several different scales.

I have all the models you see in the village plus lots of others. I build them the way they come first, then look at them to see how I might bash them into something else. It is lots of fun and cost about nothing in materials.

Paper models can be used as temporary structures on any layout, or as plans to scratchbuild a full 3D version. Just adjust the size for your particular scale and print. Also can be opened with any graphics software and modified in any way you see fit. Just remember that is copyrighted material, so do not start giving them away.

Hi,

The company is giving them away, not me. But if you read the web site you will find that and more.

The free download comes in several different scales.

What I meant is while you can legally go to the page and download as many as allowed, you still do not have the right to pass your own downloads to somebody else or post them somewhere else without authorization. Posting a link (as you did) is OK..... so far. Probably says so somewhere.

Maybe I am slow but I have no idea how you get any notion from my post that anyone but the company is giving anything to anyone.

Bill- No one is accusing you of anything. Piopak was just stating an often overlooked action that is not only illegal, but also grossly unfair to the originator of the work.

Hi Herb,

So this was sort of like a "Public Service Announcement - PSA". Then I should expect to see a PSA like this with every thread on the forum. I guess we can't be to careful.

Reminds me of the time I posted a picture from another thread and you questioned if I had gotten permission to post the picture. You had not looked far enough to see the other thread and picture was mine.

Not to hijack your thread, I remember an instance when a fellow here on FR wrote to me that he thought some dude was posting my photos on his "blog" or whatever. OK, I checked it out...he wasn't posting just the pix, he was saying that it was HIS layout. I left him a nice message on his little blog and...he's gone now. Copying your work is somewhat flattering; ripping you off is immoral.
NOW BACK TO FREE CARDSTOCK DOWNLOADS...
