Hey ya'll; I'd thought I's ask about brass kits before I try my hand at them. Seeing all the awesome work you guys on the forums do; I think I might be able to do the same.

What kind of kits do ya'll recomend, and howd you recomend putting them together; are there any tricks, tools, or techniques to the trade I should know about? I would really like to find some kits for 19th century On30 locomotives; mainly a c-16, 8-18c & d locomotives.

Thank ya'll very much for any thoughts.

Rock On!

Dusten-I don't know if there are any brass On30 loco kits. Precision Scale makes brass On3 kits that may be adapted. I trust that you are well versed in soldering, machining raw castings, mechanical assembly, and some other areas which escape my brain. As for availability of On30 brass loco kits, I suggest calling CORONADO SCALE MODELS in Phoenix, AZ. If any such kits are made, they will know, if not then they would know which kits are suitable for conversion. Hope this info helps.
