Lucas: I looked at their website and may have to order a boxcar or two-they are really beautiful. Their website says that their cars operate on 34" or wider radius curves. I was wondering if you had attempted to operate them on sharper curves? |

Yeap, this kits are really great, very complete out of the box. And for curve radii, SJCC suggest a minimum of 34", even in 0n30. But I did som modifications to my long caboose, lowering the coupler box and add some washers to the bolsters, I think it could work fine in 26" as minimum. Or, if you like to operate them in tight radius, I think you have to omit some pipes and rods that are in the frame, because they interfere with small radius. |
