After seeing those incredible plants in the Dolly Varden layout, I decided to try my own plants. I drew them in CAD and cut in laser. I used regular coloured paper. Glued to a wood strip and then stained with a mix of powders and alcohol.

Hope you like it!

Lucas,

I like the plant very much, and also the mix of grass and stone on the ground surface shown in the 2nd picture.

Thanks Rod! Grass is from Woodland Scenics and are applied by hand. They are nice, and have a full A4 paper for more plants for my buildings, hope to get some time for work this weekend. :us:

Lovely bit of modelling. I also make broad leaf plants using a laser. It really is the next step

Nice weed! :mex:

It closely resembles A Noxious weed that grows here in the Midwest USA range lands called "Thistle".  Very spiny but  yields some very pretty purple flowers.  Birds love the seed from it  but its hard on live stock & grass lands. It spreads like wild fire Takes  two seasons to mature.

Very nice.

The same "weed" grows in the Northeast.
