This is your loco, so you can do whatever you want.
Of course I will do that. But if I'm not sure for myself about something, this forum is always good for some inspirations... The shape of the rear hood was determined by the windows, not by some gears, and I can change it easily.

I've made the muffler... proportions are better now, but maybe it's a little bit on the big side... L:

The muffler looks fine right now. Remember, too, that once painted and weathered it could appear a lot smaller.
