That "push bar" with the logo would be an easier thing to make-print it out on paper and glue it to the metal/styrene "bar" and install. I like both, but the logo on the screen is what I remember most. Herb-it may have been a regional thing, but when I was a kid, it seemed that "screen door ads" were everywhere.

As another "project", this will be a while. When I do get the decal done, I will have to steal the screen door from the Bloated Goat #2 to install it. I hope those drunk rednecks ain't watching.......             Woodie

With the help of Bobby B and Mopman, I will very soon have my beloved RAINBO BREAD sign for the Bloated Goat's screen door. I am working on this nice "crib" for the Gila Ladies and decided to put a STAG BEER sign on it's door just to see that what I was thinking would actually work. Here it is:

As you can see, the sign looks like it was painted on the screen and the clear decal film has almost dissolved into the background. I am very pleased with the outcome and now will make screen doors for many of the buildings just so I can put signs on them. As for the "crib", it has tree trunks supporting the front porch and porch roof just like a similar building in the real Mogollon, NM. The ladies were at work when I took the photo.

Looks good Woodie!

You can still see the solid door through the screen and decal.

OSHA will probably want a railing installed outside that work place though.

Herb-here's a "full view" of the girls' home. It's about as rustic as can be and as I mentioned earlier, it has the feel of one in the real old town. OSHA inspectors look the other way in  this town, they have a "deal" with the ladies.

As they say, "ya'll come back, ya hear?".......Woodie

Alright-after all the jabbering I have been doing about a RAINBO BREAD screen door...here's the stinkin' thing...

It looks just like I imagined it to look, I am finally a happy camper. If you look at previous photos showing a door with the metal piece in the middle of the door with the logo, it will be done next. Just a color copy on paper will do and that will be glued to a piece of plastic or brass. Again, I would like to thank Mopman, Bobby B, and Dave for finding photos of the RAINBO BREAD screen door. As I stated, I will have to begin building screen doors for many of the buildings I have. If anybody has any other cool photos of this kind of thing, please post it. To sum it all up, just print the logo on clear decal paper, put it on the door...is that simple, or what?

One last thing. After getting my RAINBO BREAD screen door  done, I decided that it would look better on the girls' house so I swapped doors. The STAG BEER screen door is on the BG#2 and the RAINBO is on the "crib". Now, I am truly happy.

That looks terrific Woodie.

I'm sure the girls will be pleased as well to not have flies bothering them while they....um....are ah....working. :pimp:

THE LAST PHOTO....I PROMISE!

I added the push bar with the Rainbo logo and the Thanks kick plate...just like the door Bobby B sent the photo about. I was happy before, now I am REALLY happy...the door is done. As you can see, the Gila ladies now have a "Thanks-Call Again" sign on their door. I consider this matter closed...unless there are other ideas!
