Seen this speeder on B.T.S. web site in O scale and I wanted one in N scale so here it is.
The powered chassis is Kato. The rest is scratchbuilt. It is a little rough.

How does that Kato chassis run? I tried one a while back but it wasn't very good on turnouts.

Love the look of it, very useful-looking, but i'm wondering how it performs too. Either way :thumb:

I don't know about how it runs because I don't have a layout. I only tested to see if it would run. When I wire my moduel, I will test it then.

I have 2 of them and when i did a test run on my layout they ran through all 11 turnouts just fine. I did not stop them on the switch  but they ran through OK.

 Need to finish my critter.

Last night I ran the 4 wheel Kato chassis through Peco #5 turnouts and they did
stall on all turnouts. On stright track they ran fine. I will do some work to find out why. Maybe a set of rail wipers might work.
