Pat Harriman has a new book out – Early Wood Frame and Masonry Structures. His first book, Early Wood Frame and Stone Structures, was the basis for most of the structures I made for Pine Creek.

I ordered one from eBay on Saturday and it came today. Talk about FAST service.

Both of these books are a great resource for scratch builders.

They are scale drawings. The drawings are all HO but the dimensions are there and are easy to convert. If you're building in HO, he even lists the Grandt Line product numbers.

They really are good. He does a floor plan and four elevations for every building. For some of the buildings, he shows the original structure and then shows how additions were tacked on.
