|Then I burst onto the thread with a DIY solution; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CO2-LASER-ENGRAVER-CUTTER-ENGRAVING-CUTTING-MACHINE-CARVING-40W-LASER-PRINTER-/321808036566?hash=item4aed40f2d6
There will be the same thing sold all over the world.
Ok this machine is absolutely brilliant for making this sort of thing in model aeroplane ply. Also cuts most plastics and will engrave on painted metals...
Drawing up the project really is no harder than drawing it up with pencil and paper and heaps of free cad programmes out there, it comes with Corel draw. Even simpler is to scan existing drawings and rework them....
I went 1/3rds with 2 other guys and will start to make laser cut trams soon ( as our current domestic circumstances settle down, 1 marriage and 2 funerals have thrown us into turmoil).
There once was a man who said Damn!!
I perceive with regret that I am
A creature that moves
in predestinate groves
I'm not a Bus, I'm a tram
