Ah ! Bootifull !!  (That's beautiful, not booty-full as in US speak).

The old Kent & East Sussex Railway - one of the legendary Colonel Holman F Stephens'  light  (weight) railway Companies. His Companies spared absolutely NO expense, literally, in providing standard gauge economical, lightweight railway routes & services in areas where the large RR Co's weren't bothered about providing a public service. A true railroad transport pioneer but sadly under-appreciated.

Regards          Michael

ps: happily some of this line still exists as a steam hauled 'heritage' operation.
