|Herb- the front porch..I know, I know.. but aside from making the loco an 0-4-4-2, the porch stays.
The lead truck needs some room to swivel and with a couple of sharp curves on the line, it needs the room.
Or maybe a really tiny wheel and then shortened...naaaw.
Tools and a box will have to do.
And those Uintah curves and grades, they make my curves and grades look like class one mainline.
I believe the Morro Castle grade was about 6% to 8% and the curve was 65 feet radius or so.
It doesn't matter if you win or lose, its' how you rig the game.
