To hami747,

You can use the fibre material for your trees.  Go to the Micro Mark site and get some black fibre.  Stretch it thinly and sprinkle on your favourite scatter.

Scatter brand is a matter of choice.  Some look like leaves but they are generally to course.  Try and find any brand whose colours match the tree you prefer.
