2 steel narrow Gauge boxcars at the U S Potash Mine near Carlsbad, New Mexico. 

They plated them over to deter woodpeckers. 

Possibly ex-Death Valley Railroad (at least the second one). 

Though could have come from a number of narrow gauge lines,
including SP narrow gauge, SPC, NWP, or NPC.

Interesting subjects to model.
