Howdy Joseph,
I believe that the "corrugated" boxcar was listed in the scrapper's inventory
(read somewhere in Duane's book) so that might be OK.
I believe my metal version is about 22' long so 25' ain't too far off.
I say go for it!
I just had to have a riveted metal car...just to be different.
Hmmm...now I'm thinkin' (a bad thing to do) that I need such a boxcar to add to the "ops scheme".
Of course now I am modeling a fictional 2 footer down in Texas' Big Bend area along the Rio Grande,
which got cast off equipment (#'s 1 & 2 Shays, ore cars, the caboose, and mysterious boxcar from Silver City).
Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...for now at least.
Have fun and run a train today...but don't sneeze with those teeny Zn2 lokies!
