Hot cutting foam can be really hazardous inside.
I found that out after I'd done so.
I used a hot wire cutter on mine, but I blew away from myself constantly, just in case.
I didn't do a great deal of it, but all of it was indoors with no open windows.
I've read conflicting things on heating insulation foam since then.
I just hope it doesn't mess up what health I have later on!
