Hi Michael.   :wave:

I lay it flat and use an old steak knife and rasp to shape it. 
Hot cutting foam can be really hazardous inside. 

Using the knife and rasp is a mess and difficult to clean up (static electricity),
but I find that I have more control over the shape and use a shop vac. 
Dumping it is difficult, but I put the hole thing in a garbage bag and upend it.

I use latex liquid nails and skewers to hold it together for a couple of days until dry.  :slow:
