That would be an interesting idea to add speed limits to a timetable or employee rule book for a model railroad.
I remember an article, I think in RMC, about printing up your own railroad passes.


Speeds are kept low and slow on the N.I. & E. due to track and equipment. 
#8 (0-4-0) can hit a pretty good clip at full throttle! 
A saloon is never far away at San Miguel or Whiskey Flats,
with the Bad Burro, Bloated Goat, or Woodie's Cantina to choose from. [toast]


Jet engines on a two-footer? 
Would probably run out of track before reaching top speed!  :bg:
